Return and Refund Policy
At Elias Pet, we know how much you care about your pets. Whether it’s a durable harness or a fun interactive toy, we want you and your furry friend to be completely delighted with your order. To ensure fairness and clarity for all our customers, we have outlined our straightforward 14-day return policy below.
1. The Nature of Our Products (Exemptions)
Due to the nature of our inventory, the following items are exempt from standard returns:
- Hygiene & Health: For health and safety reasons, any pet beds, feeding bowls, or harnesses that have been used, worn, washed, or removed from their original packaging cannot be returned.
- Final Sale: Any items marked as clearance or final sale at the time of purchase.
2. Standard Returns
For eligible items (such as unused toys, unopened gear, and unwashed accessories):
- Notification & Return Window: You have 14 days from the date of delivery to notify us and initiate your return.
- Condition: Items must be unused, unwashed, in their original packaging, and in a resalable condition with all tags attached.
3. How to Initiate a Return
To return an item, please follow these simple steps:
- Contact Us: Send an email to support@eliaspet.com with your order number and the reason for your return.
- Pack Your Item: Securely wrap and pack the unused item in its original packaging to ensure it does not get damaged during transit.
- Send it Back: Mail your package to our return address or bring it directly to our shop in Los Angeles during regular business hours.
4. No Restocking Fees
We believe in transparent service. Elias Pet charges $0.00 Restocking Fees for all eligible returns.
5. Damaged or Defective Items
If an item arrives in less-than-perfect condition, we will make it right:
- Reporting: Please report any damage or defects within 24 hours of delivery.
- Evidence: Email photos of the damaged item and the original packaging to support@eliaspet.com.
- Resolution: We will provide a full refund or a replacement for any items confirmed as damaged in transit or defective upon arrival.
6. Refunds
- Processing: Once we receive your return or verify the damage, we will process your refund within 7 business days.
- Payment Method: Refunds are issued directly to the original payment method used at checkout. Please note it may take your bank additional time to post the transaction.
7. Return Shipping Costs
- Change of Mind: For eligible returns due to a change of mind or incorrect sizing, the customer is responsible for paying the return shipping costs.
- Our Error: If we have sent the wrong item or the item arrives damaged, Elias Pet Shop will cover all associated return shipping costs.
